Sunday Aug 19th 5am i woke up to go to the airport. It wouldn't have been so bad had i not gone to bed at 3:30! Anyways, my trip to Israel was beginning...so i was excited. The airport was a bit crazy, there was so much security. I think i stood in 8 lines before i was able to board the plane! However, the flight went well. I arrived at the Airport in Tel Aviv and got asked so many questions at security! I was so unprepared! Besides being interrogated at Passport control, it was a beautiful airport, very nice. And believe me, i know, because i walked around it for a while trying to find the bus then the train. I ended up taking the train into Tel Aviv. From the train station I took a taxi. After my last taxi experience i was a bit weary about taking one, but since i didn't have a clue as to where i was i thought it was best not to get lost on my first day =)
I am staying at the Hayarkon Hostel right beside the beach. I think that it is the most beautiful beach i have ever seen! Living in a hostel is a bit strange...but very cheap and there are many interesting people here. Yesterday i spend the afternoon at the beach then walked (yes walked) to the city of Jaffa. There is an old port there which was nice. For dinner i got shwarma...it was the best shwarma i have ever had! So good.
Today i am off to see the Nahum Goldman Museum of the Jewish Diaspora and Tel Aviv University. That is, if i can figure out the bus system!

It hurts my feelings that you think you've found a better shwarma place then my favourite shwarma place. Don't think you're dragging me to Tel Aviv just to get shwarma... you'll have to ask really nice for that to happen.
PLEASE =)
Love,
Nat
